A notable live & studio singer in Toronto, she has opened for such artists as  Glen Campbell, Burton Cummings, Three Dog Night, James Brown, Patti Labelle & Dionne Warwick. She came to prominence at 17  in her hometown of Ottawa joining her father Dillon O'Connor (Mr O Canada)  - in the singing of the National Anthem for a season of Ottawa Rough Riders home games, as well as winning roles singing /dancing/acting in (Bye bye Birdie, West Side Story &  Anne of Green Gables)  to list a few. Touring across Canada & the U.S with her band 'Hostage' resulted in her first independent release produced by Hugh Marsh  (Bruce Cockburnband)  on her own OMS records.  Bruce  joined her on 'Play it by Heart" earning radio airplay that year in Canada & the U.S.  Returning after a decade on the road with her band (Shania Twain came to see her perform) arriving in Toronto &  winning the SOCAN  New Talent Demo Award put her into Orchard Studio( Jane Siberry, Moist ) releasing the  EP 'As I am' . Quickly establishing  a Singing, Songwriting , Arranging & Sessions career  in Toronto  as well as a thriving lesson studio beachmusicstudio.com in the Beaches.

AT seventeen I ran away to  join a Rock & Roll Band armed with boxes of beloved cassettes &  albums for life on the road & never looked back. Singing & playing the Canadian Northland, crossing the country  & USA..Even Shania came to watch me ! Dear Friends What began the Winter of 2019 continued into 2020 & beyond. The Pandemic created a hollow in me... The work became longer , as the world was changing around me. I loved the idea and still do - of quiet creativity through the winter sleep, their voices continued to haunt me this entire time & I'm proud to have recorded and mixed this music set to this wonderful 1855 poem by    John 'Greenleaf' Whittier.                    Also recording every element with only a click track - no sequencing used.                I conducted and orchestrated theVoiceworks ensemble one element at a time. I stopped, I started, I was discouraged but these young voices (I'm now in my 25th year) continued to push me forward ... I send this out to our world hoping to make a tiny difference with the hope of these voices.
